On Saturday, November 19th 2022, the film entitled “Unvealing the Invisible Universe” will be screened at the Penteli Visitor Center of the National Observatory of Athens. The film has been created within the framework of the European program AHEAD2020, directed by Fanis Matsopoulos, and will take us on a tour of the energetic phenomena in the Universe that produce X-rays and gravitational waves, or in other words, the “Multi-Messenger” Astronomy.

The film will be introduced by the Director of IAASARS/NOA Dr. S. Vasilakos and the research director Dr. I. Georgantopoulos, while there will be a live connection with Professor Stavros Katsanevas, Director of EGO (European Gravitational Wave Observatory) at PISA in Italy. The film has already been shown in more than 100 Planetariums around the world and has been translated into more than 10 languages.

Tο Σάββατο στις 19 Νοεμβρίου 2022 θα προβληθεί στο Κέντρο Επισκεπτών Πεντέλης του Εθνικού Αστεροσκοπείου Αθηνών, η ταινία με τίτλο «Αποκαλύποντας το αόρατο Σύμπαν». Η ταινία έχει δημιουργηθεί στα πλαίσια του Ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος AHEAD2020 σε σκηνοθεσία του Φάνη Ματσόπουλου και θα μας ξεναγήσει στα ενεργειακά αστρικά φαινόμενα που παράγουν ακτίνες-Χ και βαρυτικά κύματα ή αλλιώς στην καινούργια Αστρονομία των «πολλαπλών αγγελιαφόρων».

Την ταινία θα προλογίσει ο Διευθυντής του ΙΑΑΔΕΤ Δρ. Σ. Βασιλάκος ενώ θα γίνει ζωντανή σύνδεση με την PISA στην Ιταλία όπου θα μιλήσει ο Διευθυντής του EGO (Ευρωπαϊκό Παρατηρητήριο Βαρυτικών Κυμάτων) Καθηγητής Σταύρος Κατσανέβας. Η ταινία έχει ήδη προβληθεί σε πάνω από 100 Πλανητάρια σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο και έχει μεταφραστεί σε παραπάνω από 10 γλώσσες.

Η εκδήλωση πραγματοποιείται με ελεύθερη είσοδο, θα ξεκινήσει στις 20:00 και η ώρα προσέλευσης του κοινού ορίζεται μετά τις 19:00. Το πρόγραμμα είναι κατάλληλο για άτομα από 10 ετών και άνω.
